From “Appearances are Deceiving” we come to understand the desire to appear young and vibrant, when actually we're old and trapped in bodies that don't respond well anymore.
We understand the utter futility of praying for your life when you're a noble during the French revolution in “Payback's a Bitch.”
Kurt in “Buck Fever” struggles with his homophobia when he unexpectedly comes face to face with his molester as an adult.
And be forewarned, don't read “Squawk” if you are averse to intense graphic violence—it is truly horrifying. On the other hand… it amps up the terror of Hitchcock's Birds to the 5th power squared. Truly grotesque.
