Life can get messy before it gets better. Here are some of my favorite poems that take the listener through the depths of Hell to come out on the other side smiling. The only way out of misery is with the help of God. This book was written in a very difficult time of my life, and these are the scriptures that helped me through. Let his words stick, and let mine roll off of your back like water droplets down a duck's back.

Edgy mixed with preachy not my thing

I’m not even sure I’d have used the word edgy if the poet hadn’t. The poems themselves were pretty good, most with a good flow. I came for the poets words though, not indirectly attached Bible verses. That was the poet’s choice, but I was left wondering about her connection, which left me disappointed.
