Just like in nature, we go through seasons in our lives. Tea and Madness, inspired by the author’s experiences of those changes, is a memoir conveyed through prose and poetry. As she grieved a lost baby and coped with depression, anger, betrayal, and surviving rape, Streetlights learned to accept there are some things she cannot forgive. Within her darkness, however, she discovered the beauty of motherhood and empathetic relationships. Travel with her on her journey as she finds the balance between normalcy and a certain, almost haunting, kind of madness.
