When Francie learns of Tanner's need for child care, she impulsively offers to watch his half-sister for the summer in return for some landscaping and renovations around the house.

It seems like a win-win, but Francie didn't bargain on falling in love.

Slow

There is not much to this book. It is quite boring with very little substance to it. There is not really anything wrong, just seems like a very immaturely written book. Personally I would not recommend it.

Absolutely loved this book

what a wonderful book! The characters are loveable. The storyline is great. No cheating. No back story of the H sleeping with every woman that he comes in contact with. The h is not a virgin at 26. Just an all around great story. I can't wait to read the next two books.

Compassion & Love

This book was really sweet. Tanner is trying to do his best and help raise his little sister after their mother dies. This is sort of second chance since he falls for a classmate from high school. A lot of turmoil is brought up from the past to shed light on our main characters.

A prettyGood good book

I enjoyed this read and I would recommend it to mature adults due to language and sex scenes. The story was quite enjoyable. I will probably end up reading more in the series as well.

Need a booster shot of HOPE, this is it

Great story, reminiscent of the great Carolyn Brown. I will be listening more from this author. Great find. I slowed the timing on the narrator and liked it more.

Omg, I loved this book! True Family Love!

I just recently stumbled onto books by Kaylie Newell. I listen to quite a bit of "Shifter" books and I found her series "Wolfe Creek" and I really enjoyed her creative writing and story telling. So I pulled up her library of books and found this series. I have to say, this book pulled at all of my emotions and it really pulled at my heart strings, I LOVED IT!!!

Tanner was amazing even though he really struggled with really believing in himself and allowing himself to feel vulunable. However, there was no mistaken the love he felt for his little sister Maddie and the love he found with his highschool crush Frannie. This book shows you that people change as they grow, but the scars of the past are very hard to overcome, but LOVE conquers all in the end.

I am just getting started on book 2 "Lukes Gift" and I look forward to hearing that story. Rebecca Gibel also does a great job on bringing these characters to life with her great narration and voices she gives to the characters. She has a great range of voices and does an excellent job of giving all the characters voices that actually fit their personalities and storyline.

I liked this story. I do usually prefer books read by both make and female but the narrator did a great job. great story warm and fuzzy all over.
