When a harpy finds itself in unfamiliar territory with none of its own kind, options for building a flock are limited. Kidnapping may seem a logical solution, but humans behave in unpredictable ways, and most will do whatever it takes to survive. Egypt covered a large area during the Late Period, but a string of abductions and theft must eventually be noticed by the powers that be. The stability of the region and the course of history depend on the choices made by the monster - and to a greater extent, its abducted entourage.
