Acerca de esta escucha
Tales of Woe: The Stranger Who Entered Town is a short story about a mysterious stranger who wanders into the quiet town of Elafair. But amidst it's tranquil façade lies a sinister plague that awakens under the shroud of night–a chilling fog, weaving its tendrils from the forest's edge, birthing unspeakable horrors that haunt the very soul of the community. Can this mysterious drifter unravel the malevolent origins of this darkness? The fate of the entire town hangs by a thread, swaying with the steps of a single stranger on a perilous journey into the heart of the unknown.

Great sound effects for a not-story
The summary gives you the entire set-up to this short which is just one long fight scene between a nameless stranger and a bunch of creatures. No back story, a handful of phrases of dialogue, and lots of descriptions of swords, guns, and claws. Are the creatures reptilian? Furry? Able to think? If all you want is a fight scene narrated with good sound effects for atmosphere, this is great. But, if you want a story with your fight scene, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
The author calls himself The Artist J. You’d think he’d pay more attention to his craft. It’s a short enough book to edit and he should have caught when he said “pug-nent” instead of “pungent” and “tentively” instead of “tentatively.”
