Good stories; narration needs improvement

As a lifelong Tigers fan, I enjoyed jogging my memory of many of these stories. However, the narrator could have done a little research into how to pronounce many players' names. the timeline also jumped around quite a bit, which led to a bit of a confusing experience as a listener.

Highlights of the team; no stories.

I like stories, audiobooks and the Detroit Tigers, so I was really looking forward to this book. However, I was disappointed. First, it does not contain a collection of great stories, it's simply the background behind the building of a couple of the Tigers teams. Second, the stories jump around from year to year without compelling reason to be jumping around.

Skip It

First off - you can hear the audio edits in the production of this book - it is very annoying.
Secondly, the research on the so called greatest stories is pretty much just taking info from other books and the info on Cobb is the same old stories told by Al Stump who fictionalized most of it.
None of the stories really get into anything, like reading stats and hearing about a story but now research into the why and what led up too - poorly written.
