Faith was hockey royalty. Her father was Duncan Sharpe. He held league records and was a star center until his death. Faith decided she would never be a fan of hockey again.
Her first job assignment did not give her that option. She was being assigned to the Wolves or better known throughout the league as the Wolf Pack. They hunted on and off the ice.
They cut Faith no slack pushing her and making it their mission to be the alphas they were known for. This continues for weeks no matter how hard Faith tries to stand up for herself and put them in their place. When the star center finally deems her off limits.
Deacon has a well earned bad boy reputation but has decided Faith is no longer a game. He wants her for himself. Now he has to prove to her he isn't everything she has seen.
Faith struggles with her own issues of ever being involved with a player, especially one like Deacon.

They must both learn to overcome their own personal issues to ever even come close to a happy ending with each other.
