Pleasant Surprise!

I haven’t had an opportunity to read book 1 but I was pleasantly surprised I was able to understand and enjoy this as a stand-alone. The premise was very interesting and didn’t disappoint. The narrator was easy on the ears and did a great job, especially differentiating between past and present excerpts. I’m looking forward to listening to book three.
