Ameru of Kenya are a community that lived in Egypt for centuries to become the Pyramids builders after they had crossed the Red Sea on being disturbed by other races that lived in the Middle East where God had created them. Ameru have the longest history in existence.

In Egypt, the rulers of the country demanded impossible tasks from Ameru because they were expert builders. Ameru therefore, decided to escape instead of surrendering their expertise. Their escape landed them in Mboa (Manda Island) in Kenya before AD 1100.

Ameru lived in Mboa up to about AD 1650 when they escaped from Manda Island Kenya. On their way to Meru, they gathered courage in the wilderness to revive their long forgotten traditions. Among those traditions was circumcision and formation of various clans and Gichiaro that prohibited marriage between some clans who were related by blood or kinship.

The custodians of Ameru customs, culture and traditions acted in the background and did not want to be known by the public. Their role was to advise the community about common issues that affected the whole community but not between individuals. Their advisors acted incognito. Ameru lived a protective and a caring life because they had always been on the run from one place to another.

The name of those incognito advisors was Thuthiu and Karibulu. Thuthiu and Karibulu advised the community regarding the operations of Circumcisions, Ameru age groups, Ameru clans and Gichiaro between clans.
Thuthiu and Karibulu advised when to circumcise, which names the age groups were to belong on circumcision, which clans were prohibited to marry between themselves and which clans were tied in Gichiaro in the community.

Thuthiu and Karibulu were traditional advisors in the community. They supervised those who sought to be espoused and assimilated into new clans for certain reasons within the community. Thuthiu and Karibulu were supervisors and custodians of such ceremonies.

This book explains that Ameru clans and Gichiaro wanted to be assimilated into other clans as tools for peace maintenance in the community. On many occasions some wrong things had happened within the community and the only solution was assimilation into another clan to evade the looming consequences. This book gives readers a clue of what procedure the affected clans and Gichiaro followed to approach the custodians for admission into new clans (Guchiarwa in another clan).
