This is a feel-good Christmas story about a huge guy with a kind heart. Stan Smith's NFL career as a left tackle ended abruptly after one game when he suffered a freak injury following a locker-room scuffle. Stan moves to Bluefield, Virginia where he buys under foreclosure a six-unit apartment building overrun by violent squatters.
