For Marc and his party, their current quest seems to drag on and on. Clearing the Labyrinth, defeating Circe, destroying Medusa, and more have become a grind. The main factor that keeps them going is that Zeus is keeping his promise by helping their levels shoot up.

Meanwhile, Marc's Safe Zone, Any Port, and the accompanying Safe Zone network continue expanding and growing. They keep him busy whenever he manages to get back home on breaks from the quest.

With the Egyptians finally removed from Olympus, Marc is overjoyed that Beggar, and now Matilda as well, will be joining them to finish their quest.

With the end of the acclimatization year rapidly approaching, Marc, his group, and his father are all worried about who might arrive at the end of the first year and are taking steps to ensure that it will be difficult to smother their growing Safe Zone network by surrounding it.

can wait for the next one. keeps building on the stories, characters start to develop

Marc and Jeff are the weakest characters

I'll start this off with, I enjoy this series. But Marc is really getting on my nerves, same with Jeff.

Marc needs to stop being such a whiner. He whines about getting levels from the gods. he whines about his renoun. he whines about his abilities. his whining after destroying an orc army is by far the part that made me dislike him even more.

"they didn't have a chance to fight back" good, this is good. he doesn't consider what would have happened to Anyport if they let that army stand. yeah, his party is in the 20s, but it seems the average level of his safe zone is below 10 with even less as combatants. they would have wiped his safe zone out.

Jeff, I am not sure what his character is supposed to be. he isn't commedic relief and is only alive because the rest of the party allows him to live. eve if he was my friend he would have been replaced long ago, his attitude, temperament and child like nature makes him a liability. proven time and time again, the Medusa fight and circe. bigger is by far better and with Matilda they are better than Jeff in every way. also, why is Ella a pure caster so usless compared to Marc the tsnk/caster. she should be laying down damage like crazy but 9/10x she is worthless.

i understand thst none of these characters will be fixed but nothing is more frustrating to me than ther attitudes and terrible party dyanmoc
dynamic.

also, Rob is in a borderline abusive relationship. literally the only decent character is Felicia

Character Delvelopment

Great read and easy to understand. Well worth the wait and I can’t wait to see hope the series ends. Highly recommended!

the battle continues

love the world building that has been done and continues. the character arcs and development, and the way the system itself functions. excellent continuation in the natural laws apocalypse series.

solid and reliable

a very solid series and this book continued right where the previous left off. all characters truly feel like real people.

Good listen

The story and pace was good but it is a bit short I wish it was a little longer

MC wants everything but does not want the notoriety

All of the eternal monolog, thinking every other thing in his head repeating what was said I don't know. They all want levels but sometimes they don't want to fight Worried about killing ogres that are gonna kill all the elves. Mc Wants to be in control of the safe zones but does not want the responsibility. Complains about getting renowned but gets great gifts from people who's watching him who are fans. Jeff is my biggest complaint. All he does is cause problems and b**** and moans about stuff.
