Engaging and enjoyable book series
I really enjoyed these five books. The premise underlying them is imaginative and fascinating. The author is skilled. There were a few minor glitches in the Audible versions of the last two books by the reader. But they can be looked past.

Wonderful surprise in fiction
I wasn't sure what to expect. I enjoy all types of books. This one was full of deep characters and a very well developed plot that kept me hungering for the next chapter. While fiction it spoke many truths about power and knowledge. Well worth my time. It will be a favorite for many years to come. Kudos to the author.

After nearly a year, I’m going to miss my dear friends.
I loved every volume of this story and every one of the fantastic characters who populated it.

Best series I have read since Harry Potter.
A beautiful story. I love the characters. I hate when I finish a series with such a unique plot and characters. It is like leaving friends.

great story
the books are awesome. really enjoyed the narration. how a story is being told really makes a great book that much better.
