Sword Catcher gave me everything I look for in medieval fantasy: mystery and magic (not too much, not too little), expert worldbuilding, swordplay and politics, a colorful cast of interesting characters, and a story that kept me reading from the first page to the last, with enough twists and turns to keep me turning the pages. Excited for the next book!

Great narration.

Love that Claire spent time on building a plot, portraying the characters and the city they live in. So many other fantasy series I feel is just speedily written to make a profit, not to create something or tell a good story.

Book ended just as things got really interesting. Can’t wait until the next book!
