Keep a trading journal

Most books will warn you of dangerous without offering any solution, but this is fantastic as it also talks about the other benefits of keeping a trading journal afterward. It’s such an easy solution to avoid two of the biggest trading problems, and it’s right there without any unnecessary information surrounding it. 

Jumping from one strategy to another

I like how this book speaks from experience. When Smith recommends something, it seems like it comes from a time of personal experience. It lends an air of personalization to the book that makes it seem more like a useful friend giving you much-needed advice.

As I am rigorous

This sentence made me realize that trading was nowhere near as confusing as I had first imagined. Sometimes dumbing it down works best, and this guide manages to do that without coming across as patronizing. It feels a lot easier to understand when I hear simple sentences like this

Focus On The Positive

I thought that this bit was really helpful. It focuses on the mental aspect of something risky by using such an easy and simple breathing exercise to help get you in the right mindset. I like how this paragraph also helped make me realize that external factors have quite a big impact on how you work. It was also interesting to listen about how important training your mind is, both inside and outside of the office. That helped me to get into a better mindset about swing trading, despite originally having my doubts from hearing some negative reviews. 

Following the main tips listed

I found these amazingly useful! Not a complete overload for a beginner, but the right amount to give me a solid foundation of what I need to know. This guide is definitely what I would call brilliant, as I did all the steps and found myself in a more positive mind-frame.

Dive into the deep waters of knowledge contained i

This audiobook bundle has been a great help in my recent venture into the world of options trading. I am luck enough to have had some prior experience before diving into the deep waters of knowledge contained in this bundle. However, I wanted to check this bundle out to see if it had any extra knowledge I could put to use, and boy am I glad I did. I can't believe the depth of the knowledge and wisdom I have gained from this and for such a great price. The various tips and tricks and sheer comprehensiveness of the content is aimed not only at beginners but at experts alike. I am very glad I purchased this. Thank you to the creators!

Think about Fibonacci extensions, for example

Smith builds on his previous explanation of key terms – I found this an excellent practical application of the key terms, and that helped me remember the vocabulary easier. It’s great to hear the terms consistently used throughout, definitely helps to deepen my understanding of the topic

Flip a profit every few days, to a few weeks

As a beginner, it’s important to pace yourself as you build up the confidence to become a more seasoned trader. This was helpful to remind me of that, as I was keen to get out into the world and do some bits already.  

Options Trading Pros and Cons

Brilliant set out for this paragraph – it was super easy to follow and didn’t make me feel like I was taking on too much, even though it is quite late on in the audiobook. Similar to most paragraphs, it is short and to the point, which made it easier to follow on to the next topic, the actual pros of trading options. The final sentence was a good reminder of Trading options, which is easy to forget, but it was perfectly placed after the explanation of trading options. As a final warning, but not at all ominous. Great book for refreshing your knowledge. 

Large price swings

I like how easy it is to move through the topics covered in the book. Hearing the words spoken so really reassures me it’s not as hard as rocket science, contrary to how complicated it might seem. The short tips are useful for some light revision
