Sweet Drop in Africa: Faith gives Emily Hobhouse a chance to tell English audiences exactly what the Boer women and children are experiencing in the concentration camps. She writes letter after letter to the London Times refuting the official view of the camps. Emily attempts to visit South Africa again but is kept from going ashore. She is deported by order of Lord Kitchener. Emily continues speaking out against the war. With the peace treaty Emily returns to South Africa to see what has become of the Harschoon family.
