honest ,insightful, terrifying and uplifting

I grew up in the Detroit area I've been to most of the places in the book including Dickerson unfortunately. The book is one hundred percent honest in it's depiction of the city and and it's people at the time. It was like stepping into a time warp! It's a must read for any young men or loved ones of young about the dangers of small decisions and the importance of avoiding the legal system.
