Spiritual warfare is real!! Storyline is GREAT, the narration is horrible!

Surviving Sunday by Melinda Michelle is a pretty spectacular read. If you’re not familiar with the power of prayer, the Holy Spirit, or the realities of spiritual warfare, I believe this book offers a strong and insightful representation. I learned so much while reading it and truly enjoyed the storyline and message.

What I did not enjoy, however, was the narration on Audible. Unfortunately, the narrator’s delivery was poor and took away from the overall experience. I found it more tolerable only when speeding up playback, The narration did not do the book justice and could greatly benefit from being re-recorded with a different narrator.

To the author Melinda Michelle, continued success on your next book!

Great 1st book in series

This was a great book suggested by a friend! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The narration was not the best but I think the authors voice was so strong I could hear the author through the narration.

Exciting!!!

I must admit, I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The story line was great! It kept my attention throughout the book and even caused me to pause and reflect as I went along. I love how the author created a fictitious story that gave clear reference to God's word and the reality of what we deal with in our every days lives. The performance was interesting and comical in certain scenes. I appreciate the audible version because it allowed me to get through a book that I've had on my 'want to read' list for quite some time.

Decent read not so great narrator

The writing of this narrative would be better suited if you read it yourself. The narrator was very difficult to listen to.
The story had an intriguing perspective of spiritual warfare. This book definitely made you think about your prayer life.

Wow!!!!!!!

This series so far has been such a blessing. So well constructed! It’s intriguing, realistic, and uplifting. God is SO good! I love how it exposes the enemy & gives insight to the supernatural. It really instills hope & confident in Christ Jesus! Can’t wait to dive into Monday. You deserve every award and cent for this genius work! God bless you!

Sorry, but this is awful

The story is awful and the narration is even worse. I'm sorry to post such a negative review, but the book was a waste of time and money. The narration is beyond bad and cringe-worthy.

The performance was not good the narrator was horrible the story was good

Don't Bother

it was hard to listen to. I stopped it after the first 10 minutes. the audio was very bad.

I hate the narrator's voice...

I could not get past the first 5 minutes, I could not take the narrators voice. I would like my credit back!
