The storyline and the performance

I like the fact that the author is still keeping my entrance and the ice clone series

Another fun book from Not Hoth.

I always look forward to each book from this series. Yes, some are better than others, but this one is up there as a fun one. I can hardly wait for who the next couple will be and of course we need to find just the right gal for our only human male, he has a lot to live up to (wink, wink). Narrators are great as always.

Ms.Dixon never disappoints…

Another spicy delight addition to this series. I enjoyed every minute! Narrators Holly Jackson and Mason Lloyd did their thing as always!

Corny but perfect

This was good. The FMC got on my nerves in the beginning but she turned a corner and I truly enjoyed her character development. The MMC was really good. He fell first. Definitely insta love but I loved every second. This was a corny, good, spicy love story. I loved every second. Ruby Dixon did not disappoint.

Surviving Skarr

I can’t wait for more of this series on audible. I did enjoy this book but felt like something was missing. I am very much looking forward to book 3.

The narration as always by these two was perfection!

Surviving Skarr by Ruby Dixon

Well, as usual, Ruby Dixon has done it again with her fabulous storytelling. This one was a little more risqué than some of her other books. As definitely not something that a person interested in hearing a mild romantic, traditional, sexual storytelling. However, it’s done as such a cute way that it’s not off putting, in my opinion. Quite a bit of exploration and experimentation is included in the story. I just wish she would write more of her ice planet Because they are my favorite ones of her books. I’ve listened to a lot of a many, many times such as the Georgie and Liz tales which are book one and two for those who aren’t aware.

It's Always good to come back!

I haven't read an Ice Planet book in sooooo long I almost forgot about all of my favorite people. It was so nice to check in on them and meet new people. And oh the excitement, I see A LOT of new names which means at least 10 new books. Sooooooo excited to read them all.

As for this book. Vivi was the only survivalist dropped on Not Hoth. She essentially would be fine as soon as she acquired her khui . . . Her entire problem was Skarr. She really did have to survive him. The moment she compared to a Peacock I laughed out loud because it's true. Enjoyed this immensely.

They’re both rather childlike

Skarr has never known anything except being a gladiator. Vivy has scraps of memory from a life that wasn’t even hers. This sometimes makes them feel more like kids than adults, and that fizzled the sizzle.

I was also looking forward to continuing with book 1’s arc about finding an underground enclave of aliens, but there was the barest mention of R’jaal and Tia returning to the group with their underground friends.

I was charmed by Skarr as a lovable, over confident, lug, and especially liked his dedication to Vivy.
It took a little longer to warm up to Vivy, who seemed so insecure and lost without her memories.
The way they came together was sweet and very low angst, which was the perfect feel good pick-me-up heading into the holidays.

No where near as good as the originals… to much talk about nothing. Not enough story building
