Survival

Stranded on a hostile alien planet after the destruction of the alien station, Commander Winters and the crew of the Falling Star are thrust into a perilous unknown. As they explore the desolate landscape, they discover that the alien city is already inhabited.

Meanwhile, tensions escalate on Earth as the president and a select few senators conspire to abandon society, seeking refuge in a hidden bunker beyond the outer reaches of the solar system. However, their plans teeter on the brink of exposure as the military brass inches closer to uncovering their clandestine agenda.

Amidst the chaos, a shadowy threat looms large: the Brotherhood of Extinction, harboring a nefarious scheme to eradicate humanity through sleeper agents embedded within the government and amongst the crew of the Falling Star. With danger lurking at every turn and alliances tested to their limits, Winters and his crew must navigate a treacherous landscape of deception and betrayal to unravel the mysteries of the alien city, thwart the Brotherhood's destructive plans, and ultimately find a way home.

Some major flaws to fix

Where to start. Virtual Voice almost drove me away in 3 chapters yet I hung on. Got used to it to a degree. Pleasant enough however a near monotone was tough to deal with After the first ten bleeps of me detecting a robot reading ate / 8, breath / breath, out of context readings. Bad.

The story itself has promise yet about 3:4 through got very thin on content. Order given/order repeated. Discussion of some shadow newbie topic. Eventually tore the story apart as the author tried to start a bridge to a sequel. I tried. Road too long. Step 1, stop being cheap. Pay a voice actor. Maybe not RC but note silicon. Get past that and put some emotion into the story line then flesh out the story. If done by RC it would cost me a credit. Paying a credit for this hurt but I stayed to the end.
