Great story

This was a great story, and some episodes in it particularly edifying and moving. Dialog isn't always strong, but other than that it is very well written. I do wish I'd read the print book, because I think the reader wasn't the best, especially when it came to the male chatacters' voices...I think the dialog would have come across better without the reader.

The reader of this book drove me nuts. It took me a long time to get through this book as a result. Her reading was slow and the voices used were not helpful. I would love to have this book read by someone else

Carolyn Weber weaves an amazing tale of her own journey to faith. Her storytelling is captivating, and I highly recommend this book!

Lovely story of encountering Christ

I came to this book after having enjoyed the movie adaptation and was blown away at the clarity with which the author articulates who Jesus Christ is, along with numerous big questions often raised by agnostics. The story is engaging, characters from diverse backgrounds are treated with dignity, all while standing firm on the objective truth of the Bible. And there are wonderful literature quotations peppered throughout.

I would recommend to other Christians and to anyone who is seeking answers to the big questions about life and may be interested in one person’s honest and compassionate engagement with them.

The narrator was quite good as well!

I really appreciated the time Carol took to lay out her quandaries and problems with Christianity. I loved the quotes at the beginning of each chapter too, and getting a glimpse into the world of a Master in English!

Story is wonderful.

I want to get the actual book now that I’ve listened. The prose is beautiful.
