The Ai narration wasn’t as bad some others. The story has unique twists. Max’s sister being that upset about Max & Fran having a secret relationship was silly. Fran being upset w/ Max because he didn’t tell her about his criminal activity during his time away - when was he supposed to do that?!?

It was a decent story overall.

The Romance was hot and steamy. I loved how he made it back home to his family. And he also stayed true to his profession . And he told the truth about his criminal activities.
