It has now been approximately 100 years since Albert Einstein came up with his theory of relativity. Soon after, Neils Bohr, and others uncovered the nature of the quantum world in which atoms dwell. The impact of these discoveries can be compared to very few events in the history of human endeavor. They changed everything we thought we knew about our surroundings and unlocked undreamed possibilities. Religious scholars, steeped in half a millennium of scientific-religious dichotomy, apparently paid little attention at the time. That was a mistake, just as it is a mistake for the scientific community to regard religious belief as an abandonment of logic. The truth will remain what it is regardless of who it is that seeks it. Since relativity and quantum physics have brought so much to human kind, there is no question that these theories contain a large amount of truth. The proof is in the pudding. They have given us television, cell phones, computers and a technological world we now take for granted. Now, if a person believes that the Bible contains God’s revealed truth, he or she must naturally conclude that whatever amount of truth there is residing in the current state of scientific theory, that truth should be consistent with the Bible. And, wouldn't you know, IT IS: remarkably so. In fact, today’s physics confirms exactly what the Bible says about the nature of God and His creation.
