In an effort to protect their greatest secrets, Kelly and Jake reluctantly enter into a pact. If she will help him solve the mystery at Sea Rock, he will disappear from her life forever, never revealing what he learned about her.
But as the weeks of collaborative investigation and home renovation tick by, they begin to bond over the heart of Sea Rock’s mystery.

They need to solve the puzzle before Sharon’s return from Italy and the expiration on Jake’s contract. But even if they do, how will Kelly handle her growing feelings for a man who claims marriage is for idiots?
