Loved it

I loved this story. Guy Veryzer's voice really brings this story to life. Randy Miller's cookie business took off at Christmas. His competition Eli Canton is now the love of his life. They grow closer everyday as they spend time and bake cookies together. Eli will do anything to help Randy achieve his dreams. Valentine's day approaches and they both have a surprise for the other that will bring them even closer together.

Listening to Sugar and Spice Kisses was like enjoying a warm cookie fresh out of the oven—sweet, comforting, and full of love. The story is a heartwarming continuation of Randy and Eli’s journey, blending their blossoming romance with the charm of holiday festivities. The friends-to-lovers dynamic is beautifully portrayed, and their Valentine’s Day surprises added a delightful touch of humor and romance.

The narration was excellent, capturing the chemistry and emotions of the characters perfectly. The cozy baking scenes were a highlight, with the narrator bringing the smells and sounds of Randy’s kitchen to life. This audiobook is a treat for anyone who loves heartfelt holiday romances with a sprinkle of sweetness. Perfect for a relaxing listen!.

Cute follow up story

Once again, I struggled with the narrator, but speeding it up to about 1.3 helped a lot. The first book had basically no spice whatsoever, so it was a welcome surprise that this book opened on a spicy scene. The main characters are cute in their adoration for each other. It’s a no angst short holiday story, that I overall enjoyed.

This is book two in the Peppermint Mocha Kisses Duology written by BL Maxwell, narrated by Guy Veryzer. I sped up Guy's narration a bit because it seemed slow. But then again, I speed up the narration on every story I listen to... I'm glad that Audible gives you that ability.

When I saw this audiobook pop up on Booksprout I couldn't wait to read and review. I'm always down for a BL Maxwell audiobook.

What a great ending for Randy and Eli. I'm glad to see they got their HEA. As with the first book in this duology it was sugar sweet and made me want cookies when I listened. It's a definite cleanser for the palate and a great holiday listen.

Nice Update

This is such a good continuation of Randy and Eli's from book one. We get more spicier moments but it still gives us sweet ones too. I enjoyed the audiobook for this one just as much as reading it. The narration by Guy Veryzer was great for the story.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Good

I loved Peppermint Mocha Kisses. Eli and Randy were so cute together, so I was happy to continue their story. I loved their time together baking (what romance isn't sweet with two guys in love baking together?) and their surprises for each other for Valentine's Day.

Guy Veryzer did a good job narrating this book (though I needed to listen to it with an increased speed because at normal speed he just sounds too slow.)
