Since writing my first book Success in Auto Body and Collision Shop management much has changed in my career and in the industry itself. In this my second book I look at things more from the perspective of a regional or district manager or above who is engaged in multi-unit management. Starting off with belief and vision and then spending many pages on leadership. The older I get, the more I am convinced that success for yourself and for your team comes down to leadership. It comes down to you. Unfortunately, that is exactly what we are lacking in much of our world today. It is my hope that this book and my experiences will help you as they have me. I have grown as a leader sometimes the hard way through challenges and failures, but I am nothing but thankful for them as they have helped shape me for the leader I am today.
The thoughts that I share with you in this book are mine alone and not the thoughts of any company that I have worked for past or present. Also, I have done my best to accurately remember the situations talked about in this book. If I made a mistake, it was simply due to the passage of time and not on purpose. No book is ever complete, and I am sure that I will notice, and you may too that I may not have included things that I should have included or put things in that I should have left out. I have been working on this book for several years and feel it is ready to be shared.
