Acerca de esta escucha
As they silently make their way through the trees to the hidden refuge that Thomas Dyersen once found need of for his family centuries ago, Sara Merryn is grateful for its existence as the silence of the night erupts with the sounds that she has long buried in her memories.
Storm Tide continues the ongoing story of family, friends, and strangers who come together at a time when the unknown is their greatest enemy…and their hidden sanctuary is their greatest defense. No matter that they have planned for this moment since the storm that first brought them together, and the siege of lawless activities that kept them from leaving the safety of the North Carolina mountains since then, the knowledge that their sanctuary, hidden deep within the trees, has been discovered reverberates as they rush to prepare for the arrival of what could only be considered the unknown enemy.
And though they had warning of what was soon to be on their doorstep, each knew the odds of getting out of this completely unscathed were slim at best.
They were right.
Senator Gareth Dyersen has long known that the threat faced by he and all those who have taken refuge in his mountain home is no longer just an issue of restoring what has been stolen. He has turned to those who he trusts as he does few others for their knowledge and assistance. But he is fully aware that it is their own skills and ingenuity that are their greatest defense.
The Home to Clare Harbor series is the continuing story of family, friends, and strangers who are drawn together by forces over which they have no control. They have weathered what many believed to be the storm of the century. Now they face a storm of another kind that could pose an even greater threat both to them and thousands of others.
Storm Tide is the eighth book in the Home to Clare Harbor series. Also available is Before the Storm, Storm Clouds, Storm Winds, Tempest of the Storm, Gathering Storm, Storm Warning, Fury of the Storm, and Quiet in the Storm.
