"The Stories of Hope 2: Written by Children - Refugee and Oppressed" is a compiled selection of the stories submitted for the “Hope Stories from Refugee Children” contest, organized by Advocates of Silenced Turkey (AST) in 2024. In this book, you will read the words of children between ages 10 and 18, who were exposed to severe injustices in Turkey and were consequently forced to leave their country, as they narrate various forms of ordeal they suffered. You will see how they look at life, how they interpret the heavy experiences they had to go through and how they deal with them, with the guidance of their modest and unsophisticated illustrations.
