They say a bullet can't kill a man born to hang but that's not a chance an outlaw wants to take. Not long after planting an explosion and robbing a gold train, and inadvertently killing the crew, a group of novice outlaws discovers one of their members might have talked. This individual suddenly vanishes only to turn up dead a few days later. Two railroad detectives along with a deputy sheriff are mysteriously killed as well. Deputy US Marshal Stone along with the sheriff is highly suspicious of one particular individual. That is Jake Barnes. Although Barnes is now an legitimate ranchers, he was once a gunslinger and outlaw years before. They take him into custody. They soon become suspicious of the others as well, threatening them with the hangman’s noose. Finding himself sitting in jail and possibly facing a hangman noose, Barnes informs his cohorts that either they break him out or they will go to the gallows with him. Not considering the latter option, they carry through with the jailbreak. After making his escape, Jake runs directly to Mexico where even more trouble awaits. Not long after that, one of the jailbreakers finds himself about to be arrested. He shoots federal deputy marshal Stone and the sheriff. Moments later as a wanted man, he is following Barnes’ path to Mexico. In Mexico, they encounter people attempting to collect the bounty. Their attempts, like the attempts north of the border, will be answered with bullets. Circumstances will require them to return for the stolen gold. However, they weren’t expecting the gunfight at a place called Spanish Wells. Ride along with Jake Stone as he encounters ever-present danger and occasional romance in what was once the wild west frontier.
