Wow. I honestly felt like I would never understand stocks and how they work. I've always felt like I wasn't saving in the most efficient way, but i was scared to get into something that I didn't understand. This book was a super detailed and interesting lesson on how the stock market works. I also really enjoyed the narrator, and I recommend listening to it rather than reading, and it all feels less intimidating! Honestly 10/10! I'm meeting with someone to talk about investments in a couple weeks!

So. Much. Information

I’m not gonna lie. This one was hard to get through. So far this is Johnson’s longest book.
The narrator was kind of meh so I tuned out at parts.
If you get the chance, READ this book. I know that there are chapters to audio books but you can’t skim passages to make sure you aren’t missing something important.
There was a lot of good information but unless you are road tripping, don’t try to finish this in a day. Typically I can listen and sew and with my body doing one thing and my brain doing another, it helps.
I’m used to his other narrator from...I want to say he did both of Johnson’s FOREX books.
He should stick with that guy. This is a lot of information and the narrator is important.
Either save this for a road trip or a weeks worth of work outs. Don’t try to do it all in one day.

best investment book

This book gives a clear and easy to follow method to really know what stages of a market's cycle are in and then gives methods to follow This is a measure of how a stock is acting in relation to the overall market. It is a good complement to have with other trading books. The book is very easy to understand and you can apply ideas to trade in the market immediately. Best investment book I have ever heard.

A dry subject but well read

Where does Stock Market: How to Invest and Trade in the Stock Market Like a Pro rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Better. The voice is better and more engaging despite being a much longer book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's not a fiction, there are no characters. I supposed the only "character" is the author. He seems like he knows what he's talking about and is believable. Some parts are a little long winded but there's a lot of information to process here.

Have you listened to any of Joe Wosik’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. I assume well. He's better than the guy who did another of Johnson's books which I've listened to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No. It's a dry subject that is meant to be informational. The subject is difficult to understand but the author breaks it down well as long as you have the patience to listen to it all. You'll want to take notes though.

It's a pretty long book and there's a lot of information so best read in sessions. I found the fact that the author clearly tells you this takes time refreshing because many stock market books promote a "get rich quick" mentality.
