Still Standing

I loved living in Newton. In my short life, I had moved eleven times and I finally felt like I fit in. Then the worst thing happened. My father said we were moving again. I was very mad and extremely unhappy. They were moving to a small town in Ohio. I gave up friends, sports, music and the best boyfriend a girl could have. I knew I would hate it but I had to adapt. This move would have the biggest impact on my life. “Still Standing” shows the many trials and tribulations I went through, while transitioning from a teenager to an adult, starting from the move to Ohio. The boyfriends, pregnancy, a home for unwed mothers, marriages, divorce and being diagnosed with a medical condition to mention a few. “Still Standing” is loosely based on actual events that took place in my life. When you read this story, you will be amazed to see how I am still standing.
