Wil Wheaton grew up.

Ideally, this is what everyone does. But most of us don’t do it in front of millions of people. Wil was a very famous kid – right up until he wasn’t. After that, he wasn’t sure who he was at all.

He thought he was writing for an audience of one: himself. To be fair, he was only off by about 3 million people. I like his honesty.

Will Wheaton is a good writer and a fantastic narrator. his stories are well written and he does acknowledge his poor early writing and acknowledges those faults and doesn't brush them under a carpet. Yes he did write some content that may have been fine 20+ years ago but acknowledge s that what he wrote then is wrong today.
