I love this book I laughed and cried . I love all the different stories going on and how the plot draws you in and makes you want more. I've waited a long time for this book andnCan't wait for the next one !!!!

An excellent listen

Ryan has furthered the development of several characters in this latest installment, as well as providing a multi-layered story. I also liked that the case was solved without an extended and detailed confession by the murderer at what appeared to be the moment of triumph - when the evidence or the hero(ine) would be rendered useless. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Very heartwarming storyline

Annelise Ryan has crafted a very heartwarming storyline. The characters were well crafted and Ryan allowed us to get into the hearts of the characters. I highly recommend this book/audiobook to mystery thriller fans.

I loved this one from start to finish! This series is one that has me waiting for the next installment.

Great story to pass the time with old friends!

I was wondering what was up with my favorite M E (medical examiner). I tracked this book down. Great story as usual. Great characters. Great narration! So why 4 stars? It just sort of felt like same old same old. But you know what? I'll still look forward to and mostly likely buy the next outing. Because I like my old friends...

Great series

Would you listen to Stiff Competition again? Why?

Yes, I am so happy to hear from all the characters after the previous book in the series. It was like missing old friends from the neighborhood. I couldn't wait to find out what had been going on in Wisconsin!

I see the characters developing in new and interesting ways.

When Maddie solves the crime, as she truly realizes her deep love for Emily.

I Love Mattie

This is one of my favorite series. Mattie is funny, intelligent and realistic. I love her relationship with Hurley and the other supporting characters. The mystery was well written and very clever. The worst thing about this book is that it's over and I have to wait for another book to be published.

Great story but….

To much listing items in detail. I’m guessing it’s so the author could have more words in the story but it is ridiculous!

I am hooked on these books. Mattie Winston is so funny and the final family dynamic is beautiful.

this book is a great mystery! loved the narrator, truly nailed the Wisconsin accent! Funny as a new mom I could totally relate.
