I was Legally Kidnapped

I was legally kidnapped when I was 4. Now I'm 49 and just connected with my Birth Mom , I will meet her next month. She told me I was NOT given away, I was taken from my grandmother when they were working. Long story, but when my Mom and Dad got back home to Texas and found out I'd been taken from the Grandmother , and tried they tried to find me to take me back home, they were told they could not be told any Information about me and my Case was closed. They said they couldn't tell my parents ANY info, why I was taken, where I was, was I ALIVE.. NOTHING..Now I am researching everything I can get my eyes, ears, and hands on. I will get to the truth of this Nightmare my Family has had to live since that happened. And for my Father who committed suicide two years after I disappeared because he had a broken heart never knowing what happened to his little girl... I promise I will find the truth and all who were and are responsible for this travesty!! So I already know this book will help me tremendously and Thank You for writing it and your courage and want to tell the Truth about these Organizations.

Disappointing

This basically just tells a story of one mothers experience dosnt really have that much helpful info. Only a bunch of opinions and Assumptions. Needs more facts and statistics

NARRATOR RUINED THIS

this book is of course great we all know how corrupt our government branches are but books like this about cps needs to get to the brainwashed people who doesnt think cps does the things she speaks of in this book. NARRATION IS TERRIBLE, the way she gasps for air every breath she takes in chapter 3. when she's almost out of breath she starts talking very fast & louder sounding like she's giving a speech rather than reading a book to us. also there's some kind of an alarm in her background that keeps going off starting in chapter 3 all the way through. then if you have earbuds in you can hear a mans voice every now and again. she definitely sounds like a smarter. way too close to her microphone or recorder speaker.
