Unique romance that keeps you on your toes

Nick owns a restaurant and a playboy. When he meets Samantha, things change. He has a life changing experience and falls for her. Samantha has been unlucky in love. She wants to try a relationship with Nick but can she accept him and his past?

This story was interesting. It kept me on my toes in the sense that it jumped around a lot from present to future and it took me some time to figure out what was going on. When it started making sense, i did enjoy it and the way it built up.

Holly is an excellent narrator. I thoroughly enjoy her voices and enthusiasm in her performance.

I do recommend this book. If you feel a bit lost, give it some time to get into it and it will be worth it.

Stay with Me

Stay With Me is well crafted, suspenseful and meaningful. The love story is sweet and believable, but my favorite part is the middle of the book suspense. Also great narration.

This story will "stay with me" for a while!

Nick is a *cough* man whore. He uses his restaurant to shamelessly hook up with anything that looks his way. He is a player all the way. One night Samantha walks in and she feels and instant connection with whom she does not know is the owner of the restaurant. She has been living off romance novel after romance novel since her last bad breakup that made her swear off men. But something about this mysterious man has caught her interest. When she turns out to not be as willing as Nick had hoped he agrees to go on a date with her. Little does he know she requires more than one date and alot of trust. He sets them up with a few days camping trip. Shes thinking it will be all fun sexy and filled with snuggles. But it quickly turns into a terrifying event she will never forget. Nick is knocked unconscious and spends an entire lifetime in his head. When he wakes up he can barely tell what was real and what was not and many truths come out over the course of time. Once he fesses up to Samantha who he was before and during their "relationship" she questions if he is just like her ex and if it is even worth it. Read to see what happens! This is such a refreshing story. It has some steamy stuff in the beginning but after that it is all flirty and so so sweet. Katherine L. Evans is a new author it me and I love this and will check out her other works if its nearly as refreshing as this one. I am an avid outdoors person and seeing how this played out is very real and is something that could happen to anyone.
Holly Holt has the voice of an angel I swear! She really brings this story to life and seamlessly switched characters with no problem. She portrayed the right emotion into her voice instead of simply reading she acted the part. I couldn't have picked a better narrator! And I LOVE the way she says wrists and legs. I'm from the south and this just made me smile. You'll know what I mean when you hear it!

This story reminded me of the notebook

This story is a piece of art. I loved how flawed our couple is .The transformation Nick undergoes is truly wonderful and what I loved most about this story is that we get not one but two hea . My favorite part is when Nick is talking about their daughter in therapy.The narration is also enjoyable , she did a wonderful job bringing the story to life .

Funny and sad

It was a great book to read. I enjoyed it very much need to get more books of Katherine L Evans

It was a good book

Was not the kind of romance (love) book I thought it was going to be. There is no spice to it at all. I like my book to have a little spice to it. The story was drawn out to long and had a hard time following the story line because it went into to different direction. At the end of one chapter she has him falling off a cliff and the beginning of the next she save him. To confusing amd drawn out for me.

Unique Romance

Nothing like a brush with death to shake things up. Will the horrible sleaze-ball Nick change his ways for Sam, his one true love?

I was instantly hooked to this tale by Katherine and the narrator was great. I found the glimpses into the future a fun and unique twist.

This story will stay with you

This is my first listen from both the author and narrator. This story will stay with your heart . I can’t find the right words to do it justice. This audio has so many layers and twists and turns .

Hero is Nick. Heroine is Samantha ( Sammy) .
You will be routing for Nick and Samantha to get together. But Nick will need to change his ways and outlook in life . Nick gets a glimpse near death of who is his future with. Nick gets his kicks with women in his office. It’s a wham bam thank you mate. Samantha thinks that Nick is a great man and a future she can build with . What will she think when Nick confesses what kind a man he really is . Will Samantha quit on Nick and if she does how will Nick get her back.
As a secondary character I’ll like Chad to get his story

Holly performance was beyond words . Her voice is uplifting, smooth and clear. Her tone for all the characters was great

So much fun to read.

This book was so hard to stop listening too oh well the dishes can wait. This was so good! Holly Holt made L Evans words come to life a super job! There was so much heart to this beauty and the characters were awesome. If you want a contemporary romance that is written with wonderful humor you really should pick this one up. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
