Good

Liked the book, but my biggest struggle with it was all of the gender pronoun nonsense. I understand that they are aliens, but it seemed to be brought up more than necessary.

Great Female Hero…

I liked the storyline and the vocals were covered well. Narrator was able to distinguish between characters well. Very absorbing and plot didn’t feel slow or rushed. Ready for the next one in the series

didnt give it a 5 because space scifi isnt quite my thing and I had a hard time following battle maneuvers. otherwise, ended with a fun ending and I want to see where it goes next

The narrator Suzy Jackson brings this stellar sequel to life. The voices for each character are perfectly crafted and executed; very clear enunciation, bringing each character to life.

Sanderson expertly mixes the advancement of plot, character development, and detail diving, balancing out the need of the reader to be informed while facilitating mystery and intrigue.

Highly looking forward to the sequel!

better than book 1!

first, read book 1 before this one. next, this was soo good. emotional. funny. intense action packed. sanderson really loops you in.

Great Sequel

Really enjoyed this one. I was skeptical because I thought Skyward was not one of Sanderson‘s best. That one had too much teenage angst and coming of age for my taste
This one kept me fully engrossed.

It explores the limits of Spensa's newly found powers and what lays beyond the stars, even the ones that watch her.
