Starry was both fun and scarry at the same time!

Astira and Stratton make a great couple! I love how they keep running into each other through out Astira's life! That Henry Frankennstine hated Astira so muchh was horrorifing!
I'll be glad when they kick his butt!

Surprisingly good

Mandy M. Roth has written a surprisingly good first installment in her Grimm Cove series. I enjoy how we’re allowed to get know each new character as they’re introduced to the series.
Allyson Voller, once again, gave a brilliant performance as she brought the story together and gave each character their own distinct voice.

Amazing

This series continues to amaze! I love the people of Grimm Cove; they are a hoot. Stratton & Astria are amazing, and so it their story. I really enjoyed the plot. Even though it definitely has a noticeable "theme" running throughout, I thought it was unique & interesting. Be warned this is a long one and hard to put down. I look forward to our next visit to Grimm Cove.

LOVE THIS BOOK!

Holy crud on a cracker! This series just keeps getting better. The first trio sets up the series then book 4 introduces what I want to call "the next wave". I was glued to this book and didn't want it to end. Semi spoiler... the ending sets up for book 5. I failed to say that I love this book! Yup, I have re read parts of it multiple times already. Stratton is more than he appears and no one is quite sure what he is. He was called to Grimm Cove, and he was there years before. Astria returns to Grimm Cove in order to hopefully put an end to everything that haunts her. Little does she know this is just the beginning and not everything is as it seems. Stratton and Astria met when she was a young child, then again later in life. Neither realized who the other was to them.... fast forward many many years. Both have grown and it has been over 35 years since they first met. This book brings them back together and solves part of a mystery but what is next?

Ok, so yes I read this book before listening to it. I picked up on pieces I missed while reading which just made me love this book even more! The narration was awesome!

Love This Series

Grimm Cove may be a respite for supers, but it is also a hotbed for monsters -again. This outing is Stratton's story, and it is quite the adventure. Who knew Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker wrote fictionalized versions of true events. I did find Marcy a bit extreme in this book, even for her. Perhaps cutting back on the ditz factor would add to rather than detract from the story. Even so, I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next.
