Starry was both fun and scarry at the same time!

Astira and Stratton make a great couple! I love how they keep running into each other through out Astira's life! That Henry Frankennstine hated Astira so muchh was horrorifing!
I'll be glad when they kick his butt!

Amazing

This series continues to amaze! I love the people of Grimm Cove; they are a hoot. Stratton & Astria are amazing, and so it their story. I really enjoyed the plot. Even though it definitely has a noticeable "theme" running throughout, I thought it was unique & interesting. Be warned this is a long one and hard to put down. I look forward to our next visit to Grimm Cove.

Surprisingly good

Mandy M. Roth has written a surprisingly good first installment in her Grimm Cove series. I enjoy how we’re allowed to get know each new character as they’re introduced to the series.
Allyson Voller, once again, gave a brilliant performance as she brought the story together and gave each character their own distinct voice.

LOVE THIS BOOK!

Holy crud on a cracker! This series just keeps getting better. The first trio sets up the series then book 4 introduces what I want to call "the next wave". I was glued to this book and didn't want it to end. Semi spoiler... the ending sets up for book 5. I failed to say that I love this book! Yup, I have re read parts of it multiple times already. Stratton is more than he appears and no one is quite sure what he is. He was called to Grimm Cove, and he was there years before. Astria returns to Grimm Cove in order to hopefully put an end to everything that haunts her. Little does she know this is just the beginning and not everything is as it seems. Stratton and Astria met when she was a young child, then again later in life. Neither realized who the other was to them.... fast forward many many years. Both have grown and it has been over 35 years since they first met. This book brings them back together and solves part of a mystery but what is next?

Ok, so yes I read this book before listening to it. I picked up on pieces I missed while reading which just made me love this book even more! The narration was awesome!

Love This Series

Grimm Cove may be a respite for supers, but it is also a hotbed for monsters -again. This outing is Stratton's story, and it is quite the adventure. Who knew Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker wrote fictionalized versions of true events. I did find Marcy a bit extreme in this book, even for her. Perhaps cutting back on the ditz factor would add to rather than detract from the story. Even so, I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next.

A return trip to Grimm Cove leads to love.

He does everything from protecting innocents and looking over a family who had made trouble for centuries. Stratton has been in Grimm Cove for the last several years taking a break from his Hunter duties. Astria Frankenstein “Franks” has been on the run for her life since she was a young girl. She has learned to fight the demons that have been after her for years. Astria is drawn back to Grimm Cove after spending her college years there twenty years ago. Stratton and Astria will be thrown together when demons start killing residents. The new woman in town catches the eye of the last person she wants to a police detective, but their attraction is too strong resist. As Astria and Stratton try to figure out what is happening between them and in Grimm Cove, they’ll find it just maybe Starry With a Chance of Nightshade kind of experience.

Mandy M Roth as always has kept this reader entertained and am looking forward to the next book in the Grimm Cove series and any other books to come.

A great telling of the story that will keep the listener wanting to come back for more. Characters have their own voice and inflections with some humor. Listeners are engaged in the story, and it will go by fast as you get in grossed in the community of Grimm Cove.

Slow burn romance, PWF

At last! I was finally able to revisit Grimm Cove!! This time we get to meet Astria and get Stratton's story!! The story follows Astria along three different timelines. I really enjoyed where the author landed on Astria's age. For me this was a slow burn romance with a bit of angst. You will understand, when you grab this book. I loved Torid! He's a goblin/dog and he belongs to Astria and he made me laugh at his antics. It was nice to see most of the gang of Grimm Cove.
The narrator, Allyson Voller did a great job with providing unique voices for each character. She used a variety of tones and inflections that elevated the story.
If you enjoy reading paranormal romance then this book is for you! Especially if you enjoy when the heroine is over 40+.

DON'T MISS THIS AWESOME STORY.

I loved the narrator. She brought life to all the characters. Having read the book I wondered how the audio would sound. Great really great. Loved it from the beginning.

Stratton & Astria & so many more

So much going on and not much to tell without spoilers. I will say I freakin' loved it!

Stratton's job and many powers were to protect beings-- humans plus-- from the bad supernaturals. Doing his job the best he could put him in many places, with many people, including a woman he can't resist. Eventually, he ends up in Grimm Cove with "people" she knows and new friends. There are lots of secrets to be revealed, loves to match up, friends to find again, dangers to overcome, and loves to find--oh, yeah, and lots of steam.

This is an amazing audio with unforgettable characters and a storyline that reaches into literary history and more. DON'T MISS THIS AWESOME STORY.

Stars in my eyes

Another installment of Grimm Cove brings new characters and an added charm of all our our favorites. Astria is running from her family legacy and Bright is on the hunt. They don’t realize how intertwined they are. This book covers decades and brings elements of gothic literature to life. There is sass, conflict and a dash of crazy that will have you laughing and nail biting at the same time! While their story is complete Roth leaves some loose ends that leave you jonesing for the next book! Narrator does wonderful and makes each character it’s own and give each amazing amounts of life.

Freaking Fantastic!!!!

I honestly believe that Starry With a Chance of Nightshade by Mandy M Roth is my very favorite in this series to date. Lover the character is Astria right from the beginning and this story brought so many of the town's characters together! None were better than Torid and Marcy. These two were the best in my opinion. And quite frankly, Allyson Volker brought every One to life. She did a miraculous job narrating this book. it's the best, and can't wait for the next one!!! ❤❤❤
