The other wanderers think me strange, and maybe I am. I was hardly a normal girl when my father died and Oberon left. And in the years since, my life has been nothing but change.

I cross the stars chasing ghosts—hoping to catch a glimpse, a trace, a whisper of Oberon. Time passes. My failures multiply. And yet nothing can make me forget the shy, desert boy with eternity in his eyes.
