Cash and Jill

This was definitely different. I didn't love this story but at the same time I did not hate it. I felt like it was a little silly. Cash and Jill have chemistry but they have so many things that have kept them apart. Jill is immature, Cash is a porn star, that's all I can say about them. That being said, I was entertained by this story.
Narration was ok, the quality of the this audible was not so good. When Elliott Kane narrated it sound like he was in a tunnel, or in a box.

you just gotta hear this book

This book was hot when I read it and also hearing a voice to it made it hotter!

Bad Bad Female Narrator, Go for Kindle Version

I wasn't sure what to think about this book but I gave it a shot. I usually avoid books that are narrated by their own authors, But Elliott Kane did a good job. Juliana Solo.....not so much. I tried really hard to patient hoping she'd get better as the book progressed thinking maybe she was just nervous and would loosen up but she didn't. She made the heroine sound like she was mentally handicapped. Her reading was overly slow and stutteringly bad. She kept emphasizing at the wrong times and hesitating throughout her entire dialogue. I'm not sure what she was going for but she totally missed the mark. I kept fast-forwarding through all her parts but was missing too much of the storyline. She also sounded very uncomfortable reading the sex scenes. Maybe she was new and simply needs to practice more to become more comfortable with reading while being recorded. Either way, I gave up on this audible version. Thank GOD there was a kindle one. I would recommend the kindle version instead.

The book was interesting by itself. It had a good plotline involving an unlikely pairing of a geeky girl who started out as an ugly duckling but grew into a beautiful swan (unbeknownst to her), a porn star stepbrother who ends up being the prince (but sometimes doubles as the evil stepbrother who teased her while growing up because he didn't understand his own attraction to her) that is secretly in love with her, a beloved father who may be dying, and an evil step-mother trying to steal all the money her husband will leave behind. All the makings of an unusual modern day cinderella. I think that rocks. lol
