Stanley the Snack Snatcher, written by Lemi-Ola Erinkitola, tells the story of Stanley Stevens, a notorious snack-stealing bandit. He gained the nickname of "Stanley the Snack Snatcher" from the six victims of stolen snacks that he has accumulated this year alone. Susan Simmons, the heroine of the story, is frustrated yet resilient. Susan is determined to come up with a plan to ensure that Stanley will never steal her snack again. What can Susan possibly do to stop Stanley from stealing her snack and bullying her classmates?
This compelling story is sure to captivate any child between the ages of four and eight and engage his or her critical thinking skills with thoughtful questions and practical challenges throughout. Verbal skills are challenged as well, and the repetition of the letter S throughout the story sets the tone for an enjoyable listen with memorable tongue twisters. Parents will also enjoy listening to this exciting book along with their child!
