St. Noblis, a small island in the Caribbean, facing economic ruin, decides on a bold plan. It offers St. Noblis citizenship to a small group of wealthy U.S. citizens, who are serving time in U.S. jails for serious crimes. Under a little-known act of Congress, this allows the inmates to transfer to a prison on the island where they can live in luxury while serving their sentences.

The first batch of five felons include a New York socialite convicted of insider trading, an art dealer guilty of art theft and forgery, a crypto fund manager who ran a Ponzi scheme, as well as an Army general convicted of torture and murder, and a celebrity brain surgeon who has admitted to murdering his wife.

The prison in paradise becomes a hotbed for intrigue, power struggles, and redemption as new inmates arrive and existing ones navigate life within this gilded cage as the thriller unfolds.
