Warfare is real, and Satan will persist until you fall, just as he did. With an inescapable certainty, we fight daily spiritual battles to thwart the devil's deception and prevent him from separating us from the righteous. Satan is the ultimate trickster who tempts with flattery and ingrains doubt with the full intention of luring you away from the truth with whispers of grandeur and ideologies. It’s this inner voice that drones up questions of entitlement and strips away morals. It's the voice that says it's okay to cheat on your taxes because everyone else does it. When your character is questioned, there's an inner battle. In this case, the struggle is about getting caught or being overwhelmed with feelings of guilt. If you are not prepared for this fight, evil wins by convincing you that it's your money, and therefore, you deserve to keep it for yourself. On the other hand, if you’re battle-ready and a devoted Christian engaged with God, you ignore the temptation because there are costly consequences if you get audited.
