First Light

Jason Randwulf comes to Towers City to find his future but instead finds his life taking a few steps back. The only job he can get is at a local coffee shop - which pays nothing - and then he learns his former boyfriend is currently involved with someone new. When Jason answers an ad for a mysterious experiment to make some money, he is infused with a strange substance that grants him incredible powers and brings him nothing but trouble. Despite all that, he decides to use his new abilities to become a hero. He cracks down on the Neon drug that's been flooding the city and takes down some of the more colorful criminals who call Towers City home. His actions attract not only the attention of the people and the police but also the eye of Sur Reel, a mysterious being with even more mysterious powers who has taken a keen interest in Spectrum.
