A Sweet Drama Filled Romance!

Something Precious is sweet romance filled with "baby mama" drama. Jax and Rachel are engaged, and living together along with Jax's son, Jace. Everything was going great, until Jace's mother, Chloe, comes back into their lives and tries to come in between Jax and Rachel.

Aundrea Mitchell and Gary Furlong did a great job with the narration.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. Overall, this was a decent story that was sweet, light and had mild drama; however, the romance wasn't that steamy.The characters were good, and I liked Jace was a big part of the story. The rating for this story is between three and four stars.

Worse female reader

The story was good. I don’t mind the drama from the ex but the female reader was the worst I have ever heard in audio. Thank goodness for the male reader. He had soft and smooth voice. Too bad that the female ruined it.

Jealousy and Drama..

Rachel, the main female lead, and Jax, the male lead, are engaged and living together.

Then re enters Chloe with more drama. You guessed it, she is pregnant.

Rachel's is wondering about the baby's father while she gets a visit from a long lost "friend".

Add in some pressure from Jax wanting to extend their family before marriage and this book turns into of a fast pace read or listen.

There was plenty of drama, almost too much for me and almost gave me "whip lash".

Overall, it was an ok read and if you like a lot of "breath holding" and "not knowing",
than this is the book for you.

Loved this one!

I know this part of a series or rather two different series but I was able to follow along fine and loved this book. If you are one of those that like to know the history of every character in the story you may want to read/listen to the prior books but I didn't feel lost. I loved the emotions and commitment of the characters. Jase was so sweet and help make you fall in love with the story. The narrators done amazingly. I know I have heard Gary Furlong prior but his voice was sexy. I will be finding more with him as narrator for sure. Note to author, I loved the extension of their lives at the end to see how things unfolded in their lives. Would highly recommend.

Story good, narration not so much.

Ee-yew! The narration is just not right. The voices and accents just don't suit the characters. Having a female narrator do male voices is s crap-shoot. Some work, some don't.

Enjoyable

This story was enjoyable and the narrator did a good job. It was kinda hard to follow at the end.
