Best book available on SA

This book really hits all the key areas which one should know as an SA. Really appreciate Mark’s contribution for publishing this audio book.

Highly recommend both the book and audio version for everyone in the IT industry, irrespective of their domain, role, and experience.

Good broad overview

It’s a very good book that is a mile wide and an inch deep. The authors are clearly most comfortable with development. It misses the mark a little bit on some of the other topics.
The one thing I didn’t care for was it was a 15 hour infomercial about Amazon and AWS. The authors clearly had very limited knowledge of GCP, Azure, or any other solutions not offered through AWS Marketplace.
This book isn’t a good medium as an audiobook. It references pictures and diagrams that you have to download and look at to understand what they are describing.
It’s a solid three stars.

Audio isn't a good fit for material

The material doesn't really fit in an audible presentation. It's really distracting to hear "see figure 1.1 blah blah blah"
