Great for kids or cat owners

Told from the kitty's point of view, Beverly Cleary really nailed the thoughts and emotions of a cat. Perfect for children with pets in the family, because by revealing that animals can have similar feelings, it helps them develop empathy for their furry friends. My guilty secret? I have to admit that, as a cat person, I love it too.

A classic with wonderful narration

5 stars. We laughed out loud. A classic with wonderful narration. Kids aged 6 and 8 listen to it over and over again.

The adults liked this one, but the 5 and 7 year old got bored!

Very GOOD

I just love that the story is about when you get an younger brother, or sis, you feel left out and alone. Yet, you are always in the middle. You. You are in the fun.

A Masterpiece!

Beverly Cleary's story is fantastic, that's a given. Neal Patrick Harris takes it to another level with his narration. Such a fun heartfelt book!

THE BEST!!!

This is such a fun book! This is one of my favorite books of all time! It’s suck a fascinating story intriguing the listener with its quirky adventurous tale of a little cat who has to learn to get along with the new baby in the family it really teaches kids to always know that you were still loved but you have to share it .it’s such, an amazing listen and I very highly recommend it for kids age 8 to 13 I really love this book!

Socks does funny things

I am a 7 year old boy. I really liked listening to this book. It's about a cat named Socks and his owners sell him to another family and after a while the family has a baby and it's really funny after that.

Adored By My Six-Year-Old Twins...

This audiobook was a big hit for my first grade twin boys! Each of my sons has very different interests and finding an audiobook that both can agree on is challenging at times. This one not only resulted unanimous approval, but also some belly laughs. A win-win! Neil Patrick Harris is definitely a household name!
