Smoothies over Sarcasm: Alpha Angels Series Book 2

Katy, aka Hellcat, an asset that specializes in close combat and briefs those in the White House when situations arise, is one of four women assigned to the Alpha Angels who will serve with the elite units. Having often crossed paths with their commander, Katy chose the Combat Controllers to assist and plan for, and is given the authority of final approval for mission the Angels put forth. During a multi-unit task with Katy in position as the Angel in Charge, Eric, aka Marine Raider Raphael, went rogue to locate a missing child, and, in rescuing him, captured her.
After retirement, as they transitioned to civilian life, the Alpha Angels were sanctioned to become the Alpha Sorority: Angels chapter, or ASAs. The ASAs open the coffee and pastry shop Tastebud Temptations in their chosen hometown of Everywhere. In an effort to fill the silence left in the wake of disconnecting from Eric and to stand guard over their legal guardee, Katy substitutes at the local high school by day and assists in the shadowed efforts to clean up the streets. When she learns that Eric is moving to town, she decides not to make contact so he can find his happiness with someone he chooses, not feels an obligation toward.
So just what does an Angel do when fate intervenes and she and Eric cross paths in the most unexpected of ways…
