But it wasn’t always that way. When I first got started selling on eBay all of those years ago, every day was a challenge. I was never sure where my next buck was coming from, or if I’d have enough to make the next rent check.
Is any of this starting to sound familiar?
Selling online is a bit like taking a giant roller-coaster ride, especially in the beginning. Money comes in, sometimes in trickles, and sometimes in surges. Your goal is to get to that point where you can keep bringing in a steady cash flow.
I knew I was there when my PayPal account racked up a steady $3,500 to $4,000 every week.
Getting there took me three years, and a lot of changing things around, and switching up my inventory, but I made it work. My goal with this book is to help you get started, choose those first items to sell, and help you over some of the rough spots.
Here are a few of the areas you will learn about:
- Selling products on eBay.
- Selling services on Fiverr
- Selling crafts on Etsy
- Running your own local employment website
- Selling your online training and consulting program
This opportunity is not going to make you a million dollars. It’s not going let you quit your day job, not right away anyhow. But it will probably help you make the payment on a new house, or that new Beamer you’ve been eyeing for the last several years.
