Acerca de esta escucha
At some point, every small business will have to take on a contract with a large organization if they are going to grow. But less than 15 percent of small companies are actually ready to take this step.
Over more than 20 years in business, Bronwyn Reid has seen time and time again how winning one initial contract with a “big name” can be the spark that lets a small company realize its potential growth. But as Bronwyn knows from firsthand experience, becoming a supplier to a large company isn’t easy - and there’s a lot to know and do. But almost everything that has been written about the small business/big business relationship is from the big company point of view.
In this unique book, Bronwyn describes the five essential steps for attracting and retaining buyers as customers - whether they be national or international companies, government, or even large not-for-profits.
- Understand how big buyers think
- Set solid business foundations
- Develop robust business systems
- Get on their radar
- Tell your story

Good but with vwry limited resources
The book leads you into the right direction, no doubt, the limited info provided is all great. My experience from other good business books is to expect more helpful materials like samples, tables, down loadable documents etc, as to support you in your new knowledge going forward. i was amused to find that although it was described as very important to have a website, it was found that this books website is not operational anymore. In the book, it refers to the website, with indications that some material resources might be found on the website. Instead the web search revealed a website in the author's own name(the only link to this book). From this website it's clear that it's more of a mentor service, which leads to a $2000 cost per month. Guess this may be why no good resources were made available in the book and why the original website wasn't created or removed. if the author's plan was to con you to build interest via means of this book's contents and then to engage you in the mentor services, then my rating for this book will be the low 1 star. When i purchase a business book, it's for the purpose of learning. It's very frustrating spending hours on someone's product and then only to realize you have been led to a lot higher expenses, before you can get to the end of it. For not really knowing the authors intentions, i have opted to stay neutral, with a mid 3 star rating. I'm sure there is lots to learn from the author, however this is only a feeling.
