i enjoyed the storyline. the series about a family of black, wealthy cowboys is entertaining. i highly recommend.

I’m still suspicious? Is it just me?

The main character Sky could’ve been far more developed in my opinion. Very damsel in distress which may be the point but it’s not my favorite persona. But I’d listen to this book 1000x just to hear the narrators voice. He brought the title to life! You hear me! Slowwwww burn. Such a deep, intense and sultry voice you cling to every word. Great job Pete! And Brenda, you have my heart always. I do love your writing style and how the emotions of the characters come to life 👏🏽

The Great Madaris Family!

After listening to all these books not only do I wish I had a Sir Drake/Uncle Jack on speed dial but I just wish I was a part of the Great Madaris family!! Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this straight gangsta family lol! Great Job as always Mrs. Brenda Jackson!!

The story line was very good and the twist was unexpected. Every character came to life and the ending was unexpected as well with Sky's relationship between her parents.

The narration was excellent

I could tell this was an older book, but it was a nice listen. I liked the way the heroine followed her own heart and her own mind and wasn’t just controlled by the hero even though she’d been raised to follow along by her parents. Kept me listening but not quite a five star.

Another great audio book

I loved it and enjoyed the book. Brenda Jackson is my favorite author.
